Clinical Research Applications
Active Life does not currently support clinical applications with the BioDent™ 1000°.
However, after receiving ERB approval, Dr. Adolfo Diez-Perez used a BioDent™ and modified stand to pioneer the Bone Microindentation Testing (BMT) technique. This technique was presented at the 2009 annual meeting for the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR): Validation of a Novel "In Vivo" Microindentation Technique for the Measurement of Bone Tissue Mechanical Properties in Humans
