Mr. Cooper is an experienced corporate executive with over 35 years in high technology. In 2001 he became Chairman of the Board and today remains on the Board of Inogen, the technology leader in portable oxygen concentrators for patients with COPD. From 2003 to 2009 Mr. Cooper was Founder, Chairman and CEO of Skyler Technology, Inc. a software company for the financial services market. From 1993 to 2000 Mr. Cooper was Chairman, President and CEO of Etec Systems, Inc., the leading supplier of electron and laser beam mask patterning equipment for the semiconductor industry which he took public in October 1995. Etec was acquired by Applied Materials in March 2000. Prior to Etec, Mr. Cooper had an extensive career in the semiconductor industry, including 15 years with Intel and Silicon Systems. Mr. Cooper holds a BSEE from UC Santa Barbara. He is Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Technology Management Program at UC Santa Barbara and a trustee and former chair of the UC Santa Barbara Foundation.
